We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Science Teacher to join our esteemed international school in Dubai. As a Science Teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse student body and collaborate with a team of dedicated educators.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and comprehensive science lessons to students at various grade levels (primary or secondary).
• Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities within the classroom.
• Develop and implement effective assessment methods to evaluate student progress and provide timely feedback.
• Foster a positive and supportive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and scientific exploration.
• Incorporate hands-on experiments and practical activities to enhance student understanding and application of scientific concepts.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance the school’s science curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, assessments, and grades.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in the field of science education and incorporate relevant information into teaching practices.
• Participate in professional development activities and attend staff meetings as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Teaching certification or qualification in Science Education.
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience teaching science at the primary or secondary level.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the science curriculum, including a variety of scientific disciplines (e.g., biology, chemistry, physics).
• Familiarity with international curricula such as IB (International Baccalaureate) or British curriculum is highly desirable.
• Proven ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
